What makes ShowCamp so unique?

A performing arts education is incomplete without the development of performance skills. ShowCamp productions provide a practical application for newly discovered talent and acquired techniques. At ShowCamp, young performing artists have the opportunity to be a part of a production team. Production-2-2011 Through this collaborative creative process they develop auditioning skills, rehearsal procedures, and learn about lights, sound, costumes, and set construction. The performance is where the pieces of the puzzle come together, and all the hard work is rewarded by the interaction and appreciation of an enthusiastic audience. This is where the heart of the performing artist beats strong, and the joy of the musical theatre experience is realized.

Upcoming Productions

A ShowCamp production tells a story through songs, dances, drama, and comedy. On occasion, ShowCamp has produced traditional “book”musicals such as Joseph (2002) and Seussical (2007). But since there are few existing musicals that can showcase the talents of a large childrens cast, ShowCamp has created it’s own performance venue. These original shows have added education and enlightenment to the art of ShowCamp entertainment.
