Summer ShowCamp

ShowCamp is a nonprofit organization celebrating 14 years of performing arts education and award winning productions. A fun and motivational environment of creative expression, ShowCamp is an artistic community of professionals and young performing artists joining together to create a wonderful world of musical theatre!

For Grades: 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12

DANCE CAMP
June 10 – 14, 2013  
Dance Camp is a one week summer intensive program featuring some of the finest professional dance instructors in Los Angeles offering master classes in Contemporary Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, World Dance, and more! No audition required. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels are welcome.
Entering Grades: 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12  
Days: Mon – Fri

Fee: Early Bird (by April 1) - $250, General (by May 10) - $275, After May 10 - $300


MUSICAL THEATER CAMP
June 17 – 21, 2013
Musical Theater Camp is a one week intensive program in which students will be immersed in master classes in acting, singing, dance, song interpretation, monologues and scene study. A variety of guest artists and working professionals will help students explore the techniques of the musical theater performer from the perspective of an actor, singer, and dancer.

MOVIE CAMP
June 24 – 28, 2013
Lights! Camera! Action! Fun! Movie Camp offers the opportunity to develop screen acting techniques and build the confidence needed to create believable performances . A variety of on-camera exercises and short movie projects will be taped, edited and screened.

SHOWCAMP
July 1 – 20, 2013
This 3-week program offers the performing artist an opportunity to experience musical theatre through a combination of workshops, activities, rehearsals, and performances in a Broadway style production. The 2013 summer show will transport audiences to a place where dreams are born when ShowCamp presents a new musical, ”Neverland“, on July 18 - 20.

EARLY STAGES
June 17 – 21, 2013
Designed especially for kids entering grades K-2, the Early Stages program combines the joy of music, the excitement of dance, the imagination of acting, and the creativity of art into a special summer experience.

JR. SHOWCAMP
July 1 – 20, 2013
This summer program offers young performers the opportunity to explore their creativity and talents in music, dance, and acting… and also discover the thrill of performance in the annual ShowCamp summer production.
Entering Grades: K - 2  
Days: Mon – Wed – Fri  Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Fee: Early Bird (by April 1) - $250, General (by May 10)- $275, After May 10 - $300

Enrollment

All students must register either online or by mail. Since ShowCamp programs have a limited capacity, registrations will be accepted on a first come basis. A $100 deposit (applied to tuition) is required to secure placement. The tuition balance will be due by June 1, unless payment arrangements have been made.

Discounts

Early Bird Registration: Save $50 - $100 if tuition is paid in full by April 1.
Sibling Discount: Save $25 off tuition for additional family members.
Work Scholarships: Available to students and parents in exchange for production work.

We try to make the ShowCamp experience accessible to the broadest range of children, regardless of their ability to pay. Over the past years we have offered nearly $75,000 in scholarships and financial assistance to students in need. We are currently seeking grants and donations to assist us in making the performing arts available to all.
