A ShowCamp education provides a solid foundation for the young musical theater performer. Proper technique and terminology are introduced and developed at every age and ability level. ShowCamp promotes an environment of creative expression in which students have the freedom to explore and discover their talents.


 darrell-jenny DARRELL and JENNY BISHOP (Artistic Directors) received their musical theatre training in Boston and New York City. Together, they created one of the largest performing arts schools in the Midwest. Among their many stage, television and film credits, they were hired by Andrew Lloyd Webber to direct the children’s choirs for the 27 City National Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In 1996, the Bishops relocated to California where they have been arts advocates, instructors, choreographers, directors, producers, and actively involved in the creation and development of the ShowCamp artistic community.
 gina GINA RIZZO BISHOP (Creative Director) made her Broadway debut as Mary Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies. Her National Tour credits include: The Will Rogers Follies (James Rogers), Gypsy (Baby June), and Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Chorus). Her Regional Theatre credits include: Hair (Crissy), Anything Goes (Erma), Seussical (Mayzie), Annie (Lily), Godspell (Chorus). In 2006, Gina was featured as Betty Boop in All That Jazz, an original musical written by her father. Her Television and Film credits include: Unfabulous, Drake & Josh (Nickelodeon) and An American Love (Duea Films). She was a featured performer in Broadway’s 100 Year Celebration, Young Actors Awards, and Broadway Cares. Gina is an accomplished L.A. choreographer, for a variety of stage venues as well as television shows such as Girlfriends (CW),The Game (CW) and Big Love (HBO). Gina is honored to serve the ShowCamp organization as Instructor, Choreographer and Creative Director with Light and Love.

CLAIRE JACOBS (Acting) recently returned to television after having a family, Guest Starring in FLASHFORWARD & THE FORGOTTEN. This was followed by a recurring role in OUTSOURCED and most recently MAD MEN & EAGLEHEART. Other TV credits include, ER, HOUSE OF ELLIOTT, GOODNIGHT SWEETHEART, MURDER ONE & NATURAL LIES. West End, London Theatre leading roles in I’M NOT RAPPAPORT (with the late Paul Scofield and Howard Rollins), CIDER WITH ROSIE and COMING APART. Other Theatre, includes, SNAKE IN THE GRASS, SUNSET SONG, BOEING BOEING, MURDER FOR THE ASKING, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, CABARET, & WIZARD OF OZ. A voting member of the BRITISH ACADEMY, Claire’s film credits include: SHE’S BEEN AWAY (Sir Peter Hall), A DIRTY LITTLE BUSINESS, MATTER OF TRUST, TIMELINE, THE SURGEON, BED OF ROSES & PARENT TRAP.
